Description

These Apple Pie Biscuits are warm, gooey, and packed with cozy fall flavor! Buttermilk biscuits are dipped in spiced brown sugar, topped with chopped apple pie filling, and finished with a sweet drizzle of icing. It’s the perfect shortcut dessert or indulgent breakfast treat.


Ingredients

For the Biscuits:

  • 1 can buttermilk biscuits

  • 1 can apple pie filling

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Icing:

  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

  • 1 tablespoon milk


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven & Prep Pan:
    Lightly grease a baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if baking conventionally.

  • Spice Sugar Mix:
    In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  • Coat the Biscuits:
    Dip each biscuit in melted butter, then coat all sides with the spiced sugar mixture. Arrange evenly in the prepared pan.

  • Prepare Apple Topping:
    Chop apple pie filling into small chunks and mix with vanilla extract. Spoon over the biscuits. Drizzle with remaining butter and sprinkle any leftover sugar mixture over the top.

  • Bake:
    Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through.

  • Make the Icing:
    In a small bowl, whisk together confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth.

  • Drizzle and Serve:
    Let the biscuits cool slightly, then drizzle with icing and serve warm.
