Description

This beef and rotini in garlic Parmesan sauce is a quick, hearty pasta dish loaded with savory ground beef, fragrant garlic, and creamy Parmesan. Finished with fresh parsley and optional chili flakes, it’s a weeknight favorite ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 8 ounces rotini pasta

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  • Cook pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until fully browned. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat if needed.

  • Make garlic oil: Push beef to the side of the pan. Add olive oil and minced garlic to the open space. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Combine: Stir garlic and beef together. Add cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Toss everything until well combined and cheese is melted.

  • Serve: Season to taste, add red pepper flakes if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.

  • Add sautéed spinach or steamed broccoli for extra veggies.

  • Leftovers reheat well for lunch the next day.
