Description

This easy and creamy Boat Dip is the ultimate party appetizer! Packed with zesty Rotel tomatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, and shredded cheese, it’s a crowd-pleasing snack perfect for game day, pool parties, or casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes, drained

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, jalapeños, or cilantro

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

  • Add the sour cream and taco seasoning, mixing until fully combined.

  • Stir in the drained Rotel tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese.

  • Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and let flavors blend.

  • Before serving, top with optional green onions, jalapeños, or cilantro for extra flavor.

  • Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks!

Notes

  • Make sure to drain the Rotel tomatoes well to prevent the dip from becoming watery.

  • You can spice it up by adding a few dashes of hot sauce or using spicy taco seasoning.

  • Great make-ahead dip — just stir before serving if any separation occurs.
