Description

These brown sugar baked pork chops are sweet, savory, and incredibly juicy. Baked in a buttery brown sugar glaze with a touch of soy and Worcestershire sauce, this easy pork recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 4 thick-cut pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar, packed

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

  • Make the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth and combined.

  • Prep pork chops: Place pork chops in the baking dish. Pour the glaze evenly over the top of each chop.

  • Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the glaze is bubbly and caramelized.

  • Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon extra glaze from the pan over the chops for extra flavor.

Notes

  • For added spice, sprinkle with crushed red pepper or add a dash of hot sauce to the glaze.

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables to soak up the glaze.

  • Bone-in chops can be used; just adjust cooking time slightly
