Ingredients

2 1/2 cups grated cabbage

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine grated cabbage, chopped onion, flour, eggs, salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder and parsley. Mix until well blended into a thick batter.

Heat a thin layer of oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the skillet and flatten gently into patties.

Fry for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp.

Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve warm, optionally with sour cream, yogurt dip, or a spicy sauce.
