Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 onion, finely diced

1 bell pepper, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup tomato sauce

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1-2 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra depth)

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 burger buns

Optional: sliced pickles, shredded lettuce, or coleslaw for topping
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add diced onions and bell pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Add ground chicken, breaking it apart as it cooks. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened to your liking.
Toast buns lightly if desired, and scoop the mixture onto the bottom half.
Add any desired toppings, then place the top bun and serve hot.
