Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  3. Add the flour and mix just until incorporated.

  4. Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Swirl about ½ teaspoon of caramel sauce on top of each cookie using a toothpick or knife.
