Description

This quick and easy Cheese Bread is soft, savory, and loaded with melty cheese in every bite. Made without yeast, it’s the perfect companion for soups, salads, or just as a cheesy snack. Ready in under an hour!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite blend)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Stir in shredded cheese until evenly distributed.

  4. Add milk and mix just until combined—do not overmix.

  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

  • Add herbs like chives, parsley, or garlic powder for extra flavor.

  • Use a mix of cheeses for a richer taste.

  • Best enjoyed the same day, but can be reheated in a toaster oven.
