Description

These Cheeseburger Pockets are a fun and flavorful twist on the classic cheeseburger, wrapped in golden pizza dough and stuffed with seasoned beef, onions, ketchup, mustard, and melty mozzarella. Perfect for quick family dinners, lunchboxes, or party snacks!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp mustard

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Stir in mustard and ketchup, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.

  4. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into even squares or rectangles.

  5. Spoon a portion of the beef mixture onto the center of each dough piece and top with shredded mozzarella.

  6. Fold the dough over to form a pocket and pinch edges to seal completely.

  7. Place pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  9. Serve warm with dipping sauces or a side salad.

Notes

Add pickles or a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top for a more “burger-like” touch.

Swap in cheddar cheese or use a mix for more flavor.

Great for freezing—just reheat in the oven or air fryer!
