Description

This Cheesesteak Tortellini is a mouthwatering fusion of two favorites! Tender cheese-filled tortellini tossed with juicy beef steak, sautéed peppers, and onions, then finished with a cheesy sauce — an easy, hearty dinner everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz cheese tortellini

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or flank steak)

  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup beef broth

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

 

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

  • Add the sliced beef, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, sauté the bell pepper and onion until tender.

  • Lower the heat and pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine.

  • Add the shredded provolone and stir until melted into a smooth sauce.

  • Return the cooked beef and tortellini to the skillet, tossing everything together until fully coated in the cheesy sauce.

 

  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot!

Notes

  • For extra cheesiness, top with additional shredded cheese and broil for 2–3 minutes.

  • Substitute mushrooms for a veggie-packed variation.
