Description

This Chicken Garlic Parmesan Rice is a one-skillet wonder featuring juicy, golden-seared chicken tenders served over creamy garlic parmesan rice. Easy, satisfying, and full of cozy flavor—perfect for busy weeknights or comfort-food cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice

  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  • Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.

  • Add rice and stir to toast for 1–2 minutes.

  • Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 15–18 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

  • Stir in Parmesan and cream (if using) until creamy. Add chicken back on top and warm through.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
