Ingredients
For the Base:
1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1/4 cup (55g) brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
1/3 cup (70g) brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the Glaze:
3/4 cup (90g) powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk or cream
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Make the base: In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour and mix until a soft dough forms. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.

Make the swirl: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Drizzle the melted butter over the dough in the pan, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl it gently into the dough.
