Description

These Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a sweet, crispy snack made with just a few wholesome ingredients. Lightly coated in oil, cinnamon, and sugar, these air-fried banana slices are a healthier alternative to store-bought chips—perfect for snacking or topping yogurt and oatmeal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prep Bananas:
In a bowl, gently toss banana slices with oil, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until evenly coated.
  • Arrange in Air Fryer:
Place banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray. Do not overlap.
  • Air Fry:
Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and slightly crisp. Check frequently toward the end to prevent burning.
  • Cool:
Let banana chips cool completely—they’ll continue to crisp up as they cool.
  • Serve or Store:
Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use slightly underripe bananas.
  • Try swapping sugar for maple sugar or coconut sugar for variation.
