Description

This condensed milk cake is soft, moist, and wonderfully sweet with a rich, buttery flavor. Made with pantry staples and no extra sugar needed, it’s a simple yet decadent dessert perfect for any occasion—from teatime treats to elegant dinner finales.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Grease and flour an 8-inch round or square baking pan.

  • Mix Wet Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • Add Dry Ingredients:

    • Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined—do not overmix.

  • Bake:

    • Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.

    • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

 

  • Cool & Serve:

    • Let cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

    • Serve plain or dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • For a citrus twist, add lemon or orange zest.

  • Delicious served with berries or whipped cream.

 

  • Can be made in a loaf pan for a pound cake vibe.
