Ingredients

For the Biscuits:

  • 1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix (usually includes seasoning packet)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 3/4 cup cold water (or as directed on the package)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Crab Filling:

  • 1 cup lump crab meat (drained and picked over for shells)

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Pinch of salt and paprika


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, mix biscuit mix, seasoning packet, garlic powder, cheddar cheese, and water until a soft dough forms.

  • In a separate bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and parsley (if using).

  • Scoop a tablespoon of biscuit dough, flatten slightly, and place a spoonful of crab mixture in the center. Top with another bit of dough and seal edges to enclose the filling.

  • Place stuffed biscuits on the baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.

  • While baking, make the lemon butter sauce: Melt butter in a small saucepan, stir in lemon juice, zest, garlic powder, salt, and paprika.

  • Brush baked biscuits with warm lemon butter sauce immediately after removing from the oven.

  • Serve warm with extra sauce on the side if desired.
