Description

This Creamy Garlic Chicken Breasts recipe features juicy, pan-seared chicken smothered in a rich garlic Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for a quick and comforting weeknight dinner, it’s a crowd-pleaser that pairs beautifully with pasta, rice, or veggies.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

 

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  • Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets (optional for quicker cooking).

  • Season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.

  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.

  • Return chicken to the pan and coat with the sauce. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes.

 

  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

  • Great with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and flavor.
