Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets, cut into chunks

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.

  2. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

Step 2: Sear the Salmon
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Season salmon chunks with salt and pepper.
5. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Cream Sauce
6. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter.
7. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
8. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 2–3 minutes.
9. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce is smooth.
10. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using.

 

Step 4: Combine and Serve
11. Toss cooked pasta into the cream sauce, adding a bit of reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.
12. Gently fold in the seared salmon chunks.
13. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or bas
