Ingredients
For the Chicken:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Sauce & Pasta:

8 oz penne or rotini pasta

1 tbsp butter
-
1/2 cup diced onion
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
-
1/2 cup chicken broth
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
-
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
-
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Cook the Pasta:

Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken:

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Cook for 6–7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until soft (about 3 minutes).

Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in honey BBQ sauce, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.

Add cheddar cheese and smoked paprika, stirring until sauce is smooth and melted.

Combine and Serve:

Toss cooked pasta and chicken in the sauce until everything is well coated.

Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Use rotisserie chicken to cut down prep time. Spice it up with a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper if desired.
