- Pat dry the salmon fillets with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps them crisp up in the pan.
- Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
2️⃣ Make the Honey Garlic Glaze:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir and simmer for 4-5 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook the Salmon:
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes, until crispy and golden.
- Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, brushing the salmon with half of the glaze while cooking.
4️⃣ Glaze & Serve:
- Once the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) internally, remove from heat.
- Drizzle with the remaining honey garlic glaze and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately over steamed rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
