Description

This Crispy Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon is the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and crispy goodness. The caramelized honey-garlic glaze coats each flaky fillet, making it an irresistible meal in under 30 minutes. Serve it over rice or with roasted vegetables for a complete and satisfying dish!

Ingredients

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Pat dry the salmon fillets with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps them crisp up in the pan.
  • Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

2️⃣ Make the Honey Garlic Glaze:

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  • Stir and simmer for 4-5 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

3️⃣ Cook the Salmon:

  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place the salmon skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes, until crispy and golden.
  • Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, brushing the salmon with half of the glaze while cooking.

4️⃣ Glaze & Serve:

  • Once the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) internally, remove from heat.
  • Drizzle with the remaining honey garlic glaze and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve immediately over steamed rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pat the salmon dry before cooking.
Don’t overcook! Remove salmon from heat at 140°F, as it will continue cooking off the stove.
Marinate for more flavor—Let the salmon sit in the glaze for 30 minutes before cooking.
For a smoky twist, grill the salmon instead of pan-searing.
