Description

This creamy and flavorful slow-cooker chicken dish is perfect for busy weeknights. Juicy chicken simmers in a rich Italian-seasoned cream sauce, served over angel hair pasta and topped with Parmesan. A dreamy, no-fuss comfort meal!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (or additional broth)

  • 1 packet Italian dressing seasoning mix

  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 lb angel hair pasta

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Prep the Slow Cooker

  • Spray crockpot with nonstick spray.

  • Place chicken in a single layer at the bottom.

2. Make the Creamy Sauce

  • In a bowl, combine soup, cream cheese, broth, wine (or more broth), seasoning mix, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.

  • Stir until smooth (small lumps of cream cheese are okay).

3. Cook Low & Slow

  • Pour sauce over chicken.

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours until chicken is tender.

4. Prepare Pasta & Serve

  • Cook angel hair pasta according to package directions.

  • Shred or leave chicken whole, stir sauce to combine, and serve over pasta.

5. Garnish & Enjoy

  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.

  • Serve hot and enjoy creamy comfort in every bite.

Notes

  • Substitute wine with broth if preferred.
