Description

Crockpot Chicken & Gravy is a savory, no-fuss comfort food classic made with tender chicken slow-cooked in a rich, seasoned gravy. With just a handful of pantry staples, this hearty dish is perfect for busy weeknights and pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix (approx. 1 ounce each)

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a crockpot.

  • Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s well covered.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and fully cooked.

  • Remove chicken, shred or slice, then return it to the slow cooker and stir to coat in gravy.

  • Serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Add a splash of milk or cream at the end for extra richness.

  • Great for meal prep—store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.

  • Can substitute chicken thighs for even more flavor.
