Ingredients

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1/2 cup milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)

5 large eggs

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish.

2. Layer the Filling

  • Spread diced ham evenly across the bottom of the dish.

  • Sprinkle Swiss cheese and green onions (if using) over the ham.

3. Whisk the Egg Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk (or cream), salt, pepper, and Dijon mustard if using.

  • Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese.

4. Bake the Quiche

  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Swap Swiss for Gruyère or cheddar for a flavor twist.
