Description

These Deep-Fried Red Velvet Cheesecake Oreos are the ultimate dessert indulgence! Classic Oreos are dipped in a fluffy red velvet batter, deep-fried until golden, and served with a smooth, tangy cheesecake dip. Perfect for parties or a fun treat night!

Ingredients

For the Red Velvet Batter:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp red food coloring (liquid or gel)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Filling:

  • 1 pack Oreo cookies (Double Stuf recommended)

For the Cheesecake Dip:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

For Frying:

  • Vegetable oil, for deep frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Red Velvet Batter:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, melted butter, food coloring, and vanilla.

  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth. Set aside.

2. Make the Cheesecake Dip:

  • In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

  • Add powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla. Beat until fluffy and creamy.

  • Chill until ready to serve.

3. Fry the Oreos:

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

  • Dip each Oreo into the red velvet batter, fully coating it.

  • Carefully fry in batches for 2–3 minutes, turning once, until golden and puffed.

  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer to paper towels to drain.

4. Serve:

  • Serve warm with chilled cheesecake dip.

  • Optional: dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate for extra flair.

Notes

Use gel food coloring for a more vibrant red hue.

Batter can also be used for other treats like fried strawberries or marshmallows.

Best enjoyed fresh and hot, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
