Description

This Easy Olive Dip is creamy, tangy, and packed with briny green olive flavor—perfect for parties, holidays, or quick snacking. Made with cream cheese, mayo, and a touch of garlic, it comes together in minutes and pairs perfectly with crackers, veggies, or pita chips.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces green olives with pimento (sliced or whole, drained)

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color and flavor)

  • Fresh ground pepper, to taste

  • Optional: chopped parsley or chives, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and paprika (if using). Blend or mix until smooth.

  • Add green olives and pulse a few times until finely chopped but not pureed. (Or chop by hand for a chunkier texture.)

  • Taste and season with fresh ground pepper.

  • Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with parsley or chives if desired.

  • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Serve with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For extra zing, add a splash of olive juice or a few dashes of hot sauce.

  • Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Use black olives or a mix of green and black for a different flavor profile.
