Ingredients

  • 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed

  • 2 cups cooked ham, diced

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs (optional for topping)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • In a large bowl, mix together thawed hash browns, diced ham, both cheeses, and chopped onion.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Combine the wet mixture with the hash brown mixture and stir until well mixed.

  • Pour into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  • If using, sprinkle crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs evenly on top.
