Ingredients
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 cup granulated sugar
-
1/2 cup brown sugar
-
2 large eggs
-
1/2 cup vegetable oil
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1/2 cup milk
-
1/2 cup chocolate chips
-
1/4 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
-
Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
-
Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, oil, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
-
Combine and fold: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
-
Add hot fudge: Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan. Drizzle half the hot fudge over it. Add remaining batter and drizzle the rest of the hot fudge. Swirl slightly with a knife.
-
Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
-
Cool and serve: Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle with extra hot fudge before serving if desired.
