Description

Inspired by the classic Southern dessert, this Hummingbird Cake Cottage Cheese Bowl blends creamy cottage cheese with pineapple, banana, and warm spices for a quick, high-protein, no-bake treat. Perfect for a healthy breakfast, snack, or dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

  • 1/4 cup crushed pineapple, drained

  • 1/4 banana, mashed

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans

  • 2 tbsp granola or crushed graham crackers

  • Extra pecans and banana slices for topping (optional)


Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, mashed banana, crushed pineapple, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until well blended.

  • Spoon the mixture into a serving bowl.

  • Top with granola or crushed graham crackers and chopped pecans.
