Ingredients
For the Crust:

1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Chocolate Cream Layer:

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:

Whipped cream

Chocolate shavings
Instructions

Prepare the Crust:
In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until fully coated.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or pie dish to form a solid base. Set aside. -
Make the Chocolate Cream Layer:
Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until smooth. Let cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
Stir in the melted chocolate until evenly blended.
In another bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Gently fold into the chocolate mixture until light and creamy. -
Assemble:
Spread the chocolate cream evenly over the crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set. -
Top and Serve:
Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
Slice and serve chilled.
