  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and lemon zest until smooth.

  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.

  4. Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle.

  5. Add a few blueberries to the wide end of each triangle.

  6. Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  8. Cool slightly before serving, or enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with a lemon glaze for extra sweetness.

  • Use frozen blueberries straight from the freezer to prevent extra moisture.
