Ingredients
Serves 4–6
-
1 pound ground beef
-
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
-
2 cups cooked penne pasta (or any preferred pasta)
-
1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
-
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping, optional)
Instructions
-
Cook pasta: Prepare the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
-
Brown beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
-
Combine ingredients: Add cooked bacon, Alfredo sauce, and shredded cheddar to the skillet with the beef. Stir until melted and creamy.
-
Mix with pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, heating through.
-
Optional topping: Sprinkle with additional cheddar and cover for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts, or broil briefly in an oven-safe skillet.
-
Serve: Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped green onions or pickles for a burger-like flair.
Notes
-
For extra flavor, add a dash of mustard or burger seasoning to the sauce.
-
Substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
-
Great as leftovers—just reheat with a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
