Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup sour cream

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup chicken broth

Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in a saucepan. Add chicken broth and simmer until cooked through (about 15–20 minutes). Let cool slightly, then shred or dice.

In a large bowl, mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and optional seasonings. Stir in the shredded chicken.

Spread the chicken mixture into the prepared casserole dish.

In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers, Parmesan cheese, and melted butter until evenly coated.

Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the chicken layer.

Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
