Description

Pecan Pie Crescents are a quick and easy twist on the classic Southern dessert, featuring buttery crescent roll dough wrapped around a gooey, nutty pecan filling. With all the flavor of pecan pie in a portable, hand-held treat, these crescents are perfect for holidays, potlucks, or cozy snacking!

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)

  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup (light or dark)

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt.

  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.

  5. Roll up each crescent loosely, starting at the wide end and tucking the filling inside. Place on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.

  7. Cool slightly before serving. Optionally drizzle with a simple glaze or dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • For extra indulgence, drizzle with melted chocolate or a vanilla glaze.

  • Best enjoyed warm, but can be reheated in a toaster oven.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
