1 can refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count)
-
4 thin slices deli ham, cut into strips
-
8 thin slices Swiss cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
Optional Add-Ins:
-
Fresh spinach leaves or arugula
-
Dijon mustard (for spreading on the ham)
-
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
-
Melted butter (for brushing dough edges)
Instructions
-
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. -
Prepare the Crescent Rolls:
Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Optionally, brush dough edges with melted butter. -
Assemble the Rolls:
Place a ham strip on the wide end of each dough triangle. Top with a slice of cheese. Add optional Dijon mustard or spinach if desired. Roll tightly from the wide end, tucking the point underneath. -
Arrange on Baking Sheet:
Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet, spacing 1 inch apart. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if using. -
Bake:
Bake in preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling. Rotate pan halfway through. -
Serve and Enjoy:
Let cool slightly. Serve warm with toothpicks or alongside a salad, soup, or fruit platter.
Notes
-
Keep ham and cheese slices thin to ensure easy rolling.
-
Mix up the cheese types—cheddar, mozzarella, or Gruyère are all great options.
