Description

These Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents are a mouthwatering, flaky bite-sized treat filled with savory sausage and creamy cheese. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or breakfast favorite—quick to make, irresistibly delicious, and always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy, based on preference)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count per can)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.

  • Cook the Sausage:

    • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess grease.

  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  • Assemble the Crescents:

    • Open crescent roll cans and separate dough into 16 triangles.

    • Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly, tucking the sides slightly.

  • Bake:

    • Arrange filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.

    • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Serve:

    • Let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

These crescents can be prepped ahead and stored in the fridge before baking. Great for parties, potlucks, or make-ahead breakfasts.
