Description

These Savory Garlic-Parsley Pork Chops are seared to golden perfection and finished with a buttery, herb-infused garlic-parsley sauce. A simple yet elegant dish that’s packed with flavor—perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • Sea salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 4 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 tbsp ghee (or butter)

  • 4 bone-in pork chops

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

Instructions

  • Season the Pork Chops:
Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides generously with sea salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.

  • Prepare Garlic-Parsley Mix:
In a small bowl, combine garlic and chopped parsley. Set aside.

  • Sear the Pork Chops:
Heat ghee in a large skillet over medium-high.
Sear pork chops 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove and set aside.

  • Cook Garlic and Parsley:
    Reduce skillet heat to medium.
Add garlic-parsley mixture and cook 1–2 minutes, stirring to avoid burning.

  • Baste the Pork Chops:
Return pork chops to the skillet.
Spoon garlic-parsley butter over chops and cook for 1 more minute.

  • Serve:
Transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle remaining pan sauce over the top. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use boneless pork chops for quicker cooking.

  • Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or rice for a full meal.

  • Ghee adds a nutty flavor—substitute with regular butter if preferred.
