Description

These Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes are the ultimate no-fuss side dish — tender red or Yukon gold potatoes tossed with savory onion soup mix, olive oil, butter, and garlic. Packed with flavor and perfect for busy weeknights or holiday meals, they practically cook themselves!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs small red or Yukon gold potatoes, halved or quartered

  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prep Potatoes:
Wash and cut potatoes into halves or quarters, depending on size.

  • Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, melted butter, garlic, pepper, paprika, and Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Stir to blend.

  • Combine & Cook:
Add potatoes to the slow cooker. Pour mixture over and toss to coat evenly.

  • Slow Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until potatoes are fork-tender.

  • Serve:
Stir gently before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For crispier edges, broil cooked potatoes for a few minutes after slow cooking.

  • Add chopped bell peppers or onions for extra texture and flavor.

  • Leftovers are great pan-fried for breakfast!
