Description

This Strawberry Banana Pudding is a dreamy, no-bake dessert layered with creamy vanilla pudding, fluffy whipped topping, fresh strawberries, and crunchy vanilla wafers. It’s the perfect easy treat for potlucks, summer gatherings, or just a sweet family favorite.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 box vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 tub whipped topping (Cool Whip, 8 oz)
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 23 ripe bananas, sliced (optional but classic!)

Instructions

  • Prepare Pudding Base:
In a large bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened. Stir in sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.
  • Fold in Whipped Topping:
Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  • Layer Dessert:
In a 9×13 dish or trifle bowl, layer vanilla wafers, pudding mixture, strawberries, and banana slices. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with a pudding layer.
  • Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and wafers to soften.
  • Serve:
Garnish with extra strawberries, banana slices, and crushed vanilla wafers if desired. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Add the bananas just before serving to prevent browning.
  • Make a day ahead for even more flavor!
