Ingredients
For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground pork

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp finely chopped onion
For the Bake:

8 oz egg noodles

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

2 cups beef broth

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese

Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Make the Meatballs: In a bowl, combine all meatball ingredients. Mix until just combined and form into 1-inch balls.

In a large skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides (they don’t need to be fully cooked). Set aside.

Cook Noodles: Prepare egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth and cook until thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

Assemble the Bake: Combine cooked noodles and sauce in a bowl. Fold in browned meatballs. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
