Description

These Sweet-and-Saucy Pork Chops are tender, juicy, and packed with irresistible flavor. Glazed with a sticky honey-soy sauce blend and lightly seasoned, they make the perfect quick and delicious weeknight dinner. Keyword: sweet-and-saucy pork chops

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)

  • Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Season Pork Chops:
Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.

  • Sear the Chops:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the pork chops for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

  • Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, Dijon mustard, and ginger (if using).
Stir and bring to a simmer.

  • Return Chops to Pan:
Add pork chops back to the skillet, coating them with the sauce.
Simmer for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chops are cooked through (internal temp 145°F) and sauce thickens.

  • Serve:
Spoon extra sauce over the pork chops and garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • You can use boneless pork chops, but adjust cooking time accordingly.

  • For a spicy kick, add a dash of chili flakes or sriracha to the sauce.

  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed veggies for a complete meal.
